In keeping with a rich history of innovation and creating environments people want to experience, Park Royal is continuing to improve the total complexion of the property that includes a blend of premium indoor and outdoor shopping . Shoppers can look forward to exciting new retailers such as Simons and Loblaw’s City Market as well as a brand new fashion wing and food court. Interior improvements include renovation as well as the addition of several new amenities for customer access and convenience. Exterior improvements include a redesign of Park Royal North so that it is consistent with the new contemporary look of the evolving property and will also include new landscaping, store fronts and glass canopies. In years to come, Park Royal will be adding a residential component to the property as well as a brand new gathering place and public realm. Once complete, Park Royal will truly be a community within a community where people can shop, live, play and entertainment.
As one of West Vancouver’s longest-standing businesses and an early leader in mixed-use development, Park Royal is keenly aware of the community’s individual and unique composition. The property’s exceptional location where existing infrastructure, amenities, and access to public transportation will enable careful and thoughtful growth as the community evolves.
Changes are taking place now and into the future in several phases. The new fashion wing and food court, Simon’s, and Park Royal South interior improvements are scheduled for completion in the fall 2015. Upgrades to Park Royal North have commenced with completion in late 2015, followed by the opening of a new Loblaws City Market.
Traffic patterns in and around Park Royal will be normalized in the summer of 2015. The full vehicular over pass connecting Park Royal North and Park Royal South will be reconnected to the furthest south road near the Spirit Trail as well as the addition of new curbs and sidewalks.
New stores include: Simons, Loblaw’s City Market and Oska. Recently opened are: Anthropologie, Aritzia, Bath & Body Works, Browns, Faubourg Paris, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, Free People, J.Crew, Kate Spade New York, LOFT, LUSH, Michael Kors, Sephora, The Men’s Club, Trattoria, Urban Outfitters, White Spot, YYoga and Zara.
A movie theatre is widely viewed as key amenity for West Vancouver for community life for all ages. Our hope is to bring movies back to West Vancouver by adding a state-of-the-art cinema complex to Park Royal.
